What is climate change? What causes climate change?Causes of Global warming?? How to prevent it?

Climate change refers to the change in long term trend of the weather. In recent days climate change became the one of the most hot topic, and world leader's shown their concern.

What causes climate change ?

1. Global warming

The Earth is warming up, and humans are at least partially to blame. The causes, effects, and complexities of global warming are important to under

stand so that we can fight for the health of our planet

Arctic countries on Thursday pledged to fight global warming, which is happening three times faster in the Far North, and to preserve peace in the region as its geopolitical importance rises.

Due to increase in average sea level world leader and several groups start raising their voice against climate change.

Global warming, the gradual heating of Earth's surface, oceans and atmosphere, is caused by human activity, primarily the burning of fossil fuels that pump carbon dioxide (CO2), methane and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

Despite political controversy about climate change, a major report released Sept. 27, 2013, by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) stated that scientists are more certain than ever of the link between human activities and global warming. More than 197 international scientific organizations agree that global warming is real and has been caused by human action.

2. Pollution

It is one of most widespread problem caused due to increasing human demand and sense of being superior by humans. Reports shown the pollution levels rises such as: Air Pollution and Water Pol

lution which causes most damage to the atmosphere and most importantly Air pollution is one of the cause of climate change.

Main cause of Global warming

Power Plants

Forty percent of U.S. carbon dioxide emissions stem from electricity production. Ninety-three percent of the electric industry emissions result from burning coal. According to the EPA coal-fired power plants, municipal and medical waste incineration account for two-thirds of U.S. mercury emissions.

3. Increasing political tension and rise to arm conflict.

There are several conflicts in recent days which result in use of arms and cause pollution and that causes issues to humanitarian crisis as also results in large scale use of gunpowder which causes pollution and results in increasing average temperature.

4.Deforestation

It is one of the causes of climate change as plants absorb CO2 and release oxygen.

What are the 4 effects of climate change?

Rise in average sea level.

Decreasing oxygen content in the atmosphere.

Ozone hole depletion.

Floods in coastal areas cause danger to life.

What are the causes of climate change?

When we talk about climate change, we are often talking about the increase in temperatures linked to industrial activities and in particular the greenhouse effect. Therefore, we sometimes speak of global warming, which is said to be “of anthropogenic origin”. Ultimately, the causes of global warming (at least at its current rate) are not natural but driven by the human economy and industries.

Many scientists are studying this phenomenon and trying to understand how human societies are responsible for this heating. These scientists are grouped together in the IPCC (International Group of Experts on Climate), and they regularly publish reports studying the evolution of climate change, such as the one published in late 2018.
